Supplier Diversity Achievement Week features daily seminars
where member corporations and minority
businesses learn best practices for leveraging the new demographics
of the diverse marketplace. Topics include: how minority
owned businesses can partner with major corporations; how
to use creative and out-of-the box thinking to boost business;
why diversity matters in business and the community; and
how to tap into potential opportunities with San Diego corporations.
The finale on Friday, May 4, 2012 includes the VIP connection
reception, awards ceremony, and benefit jazz concert. This
is our annual gala where member corporations, certified
minority business enterprises, minority advocates and company
leaders are recognized.
Sponsorships and support include:
o Opportunity to host a Supplier Diversity Achievement Week
morning session. Each day a member
corporation hosts the day by providing the facility and
breakfast for morning sessions with guest
speakers.
o VIP Connection Reception, Awards Ceremony & Benefit
Jazz Concert attendance. Sponsors also
receive recognition at the VIP Connection Reception, Awards
ceremony and Benefitt jazz concert. All
support levels entitle sponsors to a listing in our annual
publication.
Sponsorships range from $2,500 - $15,000.

OneSource Training Facility at the Council Offices MBEs collaborates to develop business relationships and share contact information that could potentially lead to contract opportunities. Larger MBEs also identify potential 2nd tier relationships and meet one-on-one with other MBEs. Our member corporations encourage their prime suppliers to attend and explore 2nd tier sourcing opportunities. The event also includes an informative program to assist MBEs in growing their business and performance capabilities. Although this is an MBE to MBE event, our MBEs always appreciate members that support this event through sponsorships.
Sponsorships include attendance, appointment table and
recognition. Sponsorships range from $350 - $4,000.

This two day event is all about business. The frst opportunity is making connections during our annual Golf Tournament at the Maderas Golf Club in Poway. Secondly, build relationships during the Sunset Dinner Cruise while enjoying the views around San Diego Bay. Thirdly, it's a full day of real business potential for both MBEs and member corporations. During the BOC, our member corporations' buyers and certi?ed suppliers meet one-on-one for 20 minute discussions. We pre-screen and carefully match suppliers to buyers based on member needs, creating a unique and productive business interaction. We have had great success in creating mutually bene?cial relationships and real business outcomes from our BOC. Member corporations and MBEs are updated on the Council's progress, upcoming programs and initiatives during the luncheon program.
Sponsorships include attendance, screened appointment scheduling and meeting table. All sponsors and supporters receive special recognition during the event. Sponsorships range from $500 - $6,000.

The Capabilities Review Forum will provide certified MBEs the opportunity to showcase their company while educating the Council on the company's business products and services, and it's goals as it relates to potential corporate business.
This Forum will also allow us to provide valuable feedback to help you successfully capitalize on corporate purchasing opportunities. The three-hour capabilities review session will be attended by three non-competing MBEs. Each company will have 30-40 minutes to present their company as it would to a major corporation.
